US Bancorp, which offers wealth management and financial planning services, has launched its new automated investor solution.
The firm has partnered with FutureAdvisor, an investment advisory firm owned by BlackRock, to develop the new service.
The investment portfolios within the automated investor have been created by wealth management professionals and consist of funds specifically designed to help clients work toward their unique goals.
It said that users can receive a free analysis of their current investments to see how they are performing and how they can potentially improve. Automated Investor is now available to customers via usbank.com and mobile.
Envestnet, the operating system for North American wealth firms, has won a new client, Hancock Whitney Bank, for its platform to power broker-dealer and trust business lines. The move comes a week after it partnered with RBC Wealth Management US.
Hancock Whitney Bank, a firm dating back to the 1800s, said it intends to use Envestnet's automated compliance workflow for investment reviews, as well as enhanced fixed income portfolio management within a unified managed account structure.
"Having a more unified platform across business lines improves the client experience, advisor productivity, and allows us to efficiently deploy common portfolio management solutions across all client segments from mass affluent to ultra-high-net-worth and institutional," the bank’s chief wealth management officer, Miles Milton, said.
The bank started to make Envestnet's services available to its advisors in late August 2017 and has since completed the initial implementation of the platform to both the bank's brokerage and trust divisions.
